The pre-war Riley Kestrel embodied a blend of performance, style and craftmanship leaving an indelible mark on automotive history.

Considered one of the prettiest sporting saloons of the 1930s with its streamline styling and sweeping lines from the windscreen to the rear; this Sprite engine Kestrel is awaiting its new custodian.

This original Kestrel Sprite has been owned by the vendor for nigh on 40 years and has until recently been in regular use.

Capable of cruising at 70mph owing to the powerful 12/4 engine with its twin SUs and Scintilla magneto, this Riley is more than capable of keeping up with modern traffic.

The car has a rebuilt gearbox in the 1990s and a new cylinder head gasket about 5 years ago.  There has been little to do owing to lack of usage in the past few years apart from the usual fluid changes.

The rear axle is RM ratio with a speedo corrected to this for effortless cruising. A very attractive sporting saloon available for £25,600 or near offer.
