This Austin Healey 3000 was registered on the 30th June 1960 and is the BT7 model. It has the occasional rear seats for very small people! Finished in cream over red with a fully refinished red interior with contrasting red tonneau the car presents itself beautifully.
The car has been restored over a 4 year period and there is a full pictorial record of the complete rebuild from bare shell onwards. The car is finished in cellulose paint and has a new hood. The engine bay is extremely good as befits a restored car and the 3 litre engine runs smoothly with the gearbox crisp and precise with overdrive in 3rd and 4th gears.
Apart from the photographs there is little in the way of invoices or history. Ashridge is selling on behalf of the widow of the owner and as part of the deceased`s estate much of the paperwork has gone missing in the confusion. It is a right hand drive and a heritage certificate can be applied for if wanted.
