1929 Riley 9 Tourer

£SOLD

Registration
PG 3517

Registered on the 25th September 1929 and retaining it’s original number plate, PG3517, this nice 4 seater is correctly described as a Tourer and historic vehicle.

The car runs and performs well with it’s 9hp engine mated to a ‘silent 3rd’ gearbox. There is a buff log book showing the car as a Mark 4 Tourer but at some stage the body has been replaced, probably in the 1970’s, with an adapted Monaco to Tourer spec. The car has been campaigned in the past in VSCC events but has been little used in the past few years and stored for the last 2.

A usable car that can be improved whilst being driven and campaigned, being eligible for VSCC trials and other events specifically for vintage light cars. For this reason a single carburettor is fitted as standard but a twin SU set up can be provided as an extra should it be desired.
