The Gamecock was a sporting 2 seater tourer introduced in 1932 with a good sized boot area capable of taking multiple suitcases making it eminently suitable for reliability and touring events.
The Gamecock was powered by the famous 1087cc ,4 cylinder Riley engine with twin SU carbs ,mated to a 4 speed “silent 3rd” gearbox giving some 45 bhp.
This highly original and low owner car was registered to Leigh Park Motors of Datchet as evidenced in the first of 3 theĀ  buff logbooks with the Riley.
The dashboard has the identity badge of this ,the supplying garage. It was sold then to Eustace Carey also of Datchet from new who owned the car until 1971, nearly 40 years, before passing it on to H Kingsley who subsequently owned the car for over 40 years until the latest custodian acquired the Gamecock in 2022.An up to date V5c showing the registration to be as originally supplied comes with the Riley.
From the history and old mots it is believed the mileage of 44,370 miles to be correct.
A car in an unmolested state to be enjoyed and used.
