This Riley Lynx is a later four door model, following on from the original 2 door ‘disappearing hood’ version. It was first registered on 16/01/1934 and has known history from 1944 onwards, being owned by RAF officers from that point until 1962. The car has been owned between a father & son from 1974 to 2022 when it was acquired by the current owner requiring some mechanical work to get it running on the road. This work has been carried out and the car is now ready to be enjoyed in the coming Summer months.

Powered by the famous Riley 9hp engine fitted with twin SU carbs and mated to the Riley all helical gearbox, the car pulls well with good hill performance afforded by the twin carbs and aluminium coachwork. The bodywork is in excellent condition and presents well in a fitting combination of black paint with maroon interior with matching wheels. Inside the upholstery is in good condition with supple leather free of any tears. The car comes with a full kit of weather equipment including hood with bag, sidescreens and full tonneau.

A vast history file includes ownership history as well as invoices detailing work carried out. The car also has a VSCC buff form which can be reapplied for by the new owner.

A very usable Riley with good practicality, performance and history.
