Absolutely stunning car, professionally designed and built and based on the racing Amilcar C6.

Complete engine rebuild to competition trim by marque expert, including Phoenix crank and rods, forged Cosworth pistons, a modern oil filtration system and Jackson inlet manifold for those in the know!

The supercharger is an overhauled Marshall J100 Blower with the correct 5/8” carb.

The gearbox has again been checked by a marque expert and includes new seals and bearings.

The car has been totally built from scratch with superb attention to detail as can be seen from the photographs. The car has modified brakes and divided track rods, 5 new wheels shod with Blockley tyres, a beautifully crafted steering wheel and well executed leather upholstery which Ashridge Automobiles can modify to accommodate the larger driver. The radiator is newly made utilising the Vintage Car Radiator Company.

The instruments panel includes some rare dials and features a 6 inch rev counter and 5 inch speedometer and appear to work as they should.

The 4 branch exhaust system is as yet non baffled so it emits a very loud sound indeed. The next owner can either baffle the end of the exhaust (provided) or the silencer box can be baffled with little work.

This superb car has only recently been completed and will require running in and track/road testing before being used in anger.

The car comes with an up to date V5c with period registration number and is matching numbers. It is registered as a sports model and will be historic when submitted to DVLA with change of ownership.

If it is intended to put the car on the road then it will require a set of 4 wings, front and rear lights with built in indicators and wiring to suit. The cost for Ashridge to do this will be included in the purchase price or a reduction if not required/if the new owner wishes to undertake the work personally.

This car will be welcome at VSCC events be they hill climbs, sprints or circuit races; with the MG Car Club events or when road legal for many touring sorties.

Available to view by appointment and at a much lesser cost than some of the Q` type replicas on the market presently.
