A well executed and very practical prewar Riley Special which has been beautifully finished at great expense.

The car is powered by a Sprite series 12/4 engine with twin SU’s mated to a 4 speed preselect gearbox, which imbues the car with good acceleration and top speed.

The car is registered as historic and as a tourer, DKE 332, showing first registration on 22/6/1936.

The list of works, supported by invoices, is extensive. Major items include:

-Newly refurbished wheels and tyres

-Rechromed and recored radiator (£4k)

-Lights (3k)

-Steering wheel

-Upholstery carpets and leather (5k+)

The instruments are fully functioning and overhauled.

The car is finished in maroon to the wings, bonnet and running boards with black fabric body. The rear lift out section is capable of carrying luggage for 2 for 2 weeks. The car also comes with a full tonneau and a tall detachable roof providing plenty of headroom
